Sara Jane Hope is a retired Master Trainer and Human Resource Professional who spent over 40 years dedicated to making a difference in the performance and knowledge of her trainees and corporate employees. She has been employed in financial institutions, the hospitality industry, telecommunications, and government-funded employment and training programs. While owning her own company, Positive Dimensions, Sara Jane facilitated classes in leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as the SHRM human resources certification program, through the Holmes Community College Workforce Development Program in Ridgeland Mississippi. She served as a trainer and coach for the Kevin Eikenberry Group out of Indianapolis, Indiana, and co-authored the book, My Journey from Bud to Boss with Kevin Eikenberry and Guy Harris.
Sara Jane has a Master’s Degree from Murray State University and a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree from Purdue University. She has participated in many professional organizations such as the Association for Talent Development, the Society for Food Service Management, and the Women’s Foodservice Forum and was selected as one of Mississippi’s 50 Leading Business Women in 2005. Sara Jane has been a manuscript reviewer for the Berrett-Koehler publishing company since 1996.
Originally from a farm in southern Indiana, she spent the majority of her professional life living in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Since returning to Indiana in 2020 to assist with the care of her mother, she continues her active life by focusing on her fiber art hobbies of weaving, crocheting and sewing while participating in Guilds promoting those art forms. She serves as the Chairperson of the Open Class Showcase of the Knox County Fair, the oldest county fair in Indiana. Besides being a crafter, she is an avid reader and follower of many sports teams. She currently lives in historical Vincennes, Indiana, with her husband Larry and their dog Buck.
